The Autumn Collages

I made it.
I took a photo a day for 366 days following the color scheme by PositvelyPresent.com.
In mid-January 2012, I started positing the photos daily on Instagram.
The Gallery effect is very pleasing to me.
All photos were taken with my iPhone4.

The collages here are created with Picasa.

I have created my own list for the coming year should I choose to take it on. I looked forward to taking and posting these each day. I am not sure I want the discipline of this again, or if I want to post spontaneously. Not sure. To be seen. I feel tired of the challenge yet was inspired daily by it. I take a photo everyday. Maybe that is enough. I am so trying to find enough and not my usual too much...

The Summer Collages

June: Cloud

I kept it up all summer, the Positively Present Photo365 Challenge.

I chose not to follow the suggestion for royal blue.
July: White.
I just hadn't shown you.
August: Robin's Egg Blue
So here they are...
I surprised myself daily...

Uh, Yeah...April

I finished my April Photo365 at the beginning of May but I had a bicycle accident since then wherein I hurt myself, and worse, my friend who also went down with me. I broke my hand, which is an inconvenience. Also my right underarm needs attention I can no longer give it.

So many people are suffering.
I just heard a 41 year old friend who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that has metastasized to her liver. Her daughters are 11 and 2.

So I am feeling healthy and lucky to be sure.

I did break the fall with my hand and face and have some gnarly pictures to share soon.

Meanwhile, announcements have been sent and my girl graduates from high school early June. So many feelings, memories and thoughts. I am typing with one hand so

It must suffice to say how proud I am with the friendships she has formed. They will be important through out her life. Mine kept me going. I even had a bike wreck with one recently after which she said there is no one she would rather get road rash with.

Allie has that, thank God. Thank you God.

When my face was pre-gravel, I posted this April Favorites video.
God hates vanity I'm pretty sure...

That Time of the Month

With that title you are still here? God love ya'...
In 2012 I have given myself specific tasks. Everyday I have been doing my Positively Present 366 Photo Project. March was green as you see...

At the beginning of each month I create the first photo for the challenge. April is purple as you see..
Another thing I have done this year is to work in my Life 2012 journal. The book itself is by Rebecca Sower and it is so beautiful.
At the beginning of each month, I add my favorite photograph taken by me from the month, my favorite self portrait, and I fill out  a "Currently" list. At the end of the year I will do one of the December Daily journaling prompts like I did in December 2011. I'll then have a completed journal that tells my story for the year.

And here is the my monthly favorites video for March.

30 Day Photo Challenge: Gratitude III

More pages from my 30 Day Photo Challenge which I bound into journal form.
Part two is here. Old above is for old friendships, over 30 years...
Hands and words. What else is there?
Prompts are from PositvelyPresent.
Technology. Hehe, a picture of me taking a picture of me on my phone. Neato.
That elastic card came right out of mother's sewing case. Sort of a big deal for me to use it like that. Trying to live life and use the good stuff.
My husband is my best friend. I really just comprehended that.
You'd probably figured that out for yourself a long time ago.
Not me.
Everyday is a new beginning.

Sapphire

Not like I need to challenge myself. My every thought, frankly is a challenge in one way or another. But heading into this year I decided not to work this semester so I could just be present for my daughter's senior year. I find myself walking in circles and mainly walking her to the car and waving good-bye. I have decided it would be a good focus to participate in a photo a day challenge. i am following the Positively Present 366 challenge where each month focuses on a different color.

I am exclusively using my iPhone camera for this as well as the Instagram, Phonto and Photo365 apps. I used Picasa to create this collage and printed out 8x 10 so I can do some kind of journal later with all twleve. If I follow through all year anyway.

Thank you for the love on these videos. Here are my February favorites.
