I am down to vending once a year at our local paper store, Paper Crown.

 

I have knits, because I knit...

 

Also I make journals because it is one of the most deeply fulfilling things I have ever done.

 

If you are in Oklahoma City and feel so inclined, come by Saturday, 22 November.

I Knit

I knit during football.

 

I knit in the car.

I knit all winter.

 

I start each fall.

I knit and knit and knit some more.

 

I knit instead of curling up in a ball on the floor.

Back to My Hands

After much sitting, studying (to include napping) and weeks, months of not making anything, I took my PA Recertification Boards and got right back to my hands.

I had knitted while visiting mother and had a pile of knitted bits to complete. It has felt so good to be productive. Like medicine, like therapy!

Started these journals earlier this year and now they're finished.

Sewing, paper, medicine! Therapy!

I am feeling so good. Its weird. I like it.

Also sleeping. Its weird. I like it.

And the bead weaving again.

And again...

Another Sweet Peek

Silver Bella approaches. It is this coming weekend in Omaha and I've been packing for it. My swaps are long since completed and mailed, now bound by the hands of Shea and ready for presentation on swap night. Here is a sneaky peek of the second page I did for the Sweetest Thing Recipe Swap.

I made a few scarves for vendor night. The neck cover at the top of this post is Ice Castles. Remember that movie? Loved it. The perennial scarf below is Silvery Moon.

This Silver Bella neck cover features a vintage rhinestone button.
